I recently passed my test after a few months of lessons with Sue Weaver. I passed at the Upton test centre and did my lessons on the Wirral.

First of all I’d like to say a massive thanks to Sue. With her positive attitude and passion for driving she made me feel relaxed from the second I met her. I never felt pressured to try something new but importantly I always felt challenged and was given greater challenges as my experience grew. For anyone with any nerves about driving I’d definitely recommend lessons with Sue.

I felt that the learning curve was well structured and I had flexibility in dictating what we did during the lessons. I was able to identify areas I felt uneasy with and was given a personalised plan to help me improve as quickly as possible. Most of the things I went into my lessons dreading ended up as my strongest driving traits.

I was always happy with the flexibility when it came to fitting in a couple of extra lessons or moving the times of existing bookings if something came up. Sue was so understanding and I was even able to get a last minute cancellation for my test and she accommodated me without any issue.

It wasn’t just the tuition in the car that I was impressed with but the feedback after the lesson. It was always constructive and really helped me to develop as a competent driver.

With Sue Weaver as your instructor you won’t just be taught how to pass your test. You will be taught how to drive properly and hopefully pass your test with an instilled passion for being the best driver you can be.

Passed second time this morning despite lots of nerves. Sue Weaver is an amazing instructor – who else would pretend to be a bank robber in order to teach me to accelerate quickly?!! Totally reliable, friendly and professional. Would 100% recommend Sue.

Sue was a fantastic instructor. I passed my test this morning after a few failed attempts with a previous driving school and I don’t think I could have done it without her. I lacked a lot of confidence but she helped work on my test anxiety and I couldn’t be happier to pass. Anyone would be lucky to have Sue as an instructor.

Absolute delight to learn with Sue, she is very patient, superbly calm. She got me to pass first time on a few lessons as I already have a full motorbike licence so she was able to iron out the bad habits and drill me into place for the car. Honestly you will not find a better instructor.

I passed my driving test with Sue in April 2019 after having a different driving instructor beforehand, the difference between the way they both teach was shocking! Sue shows you how to drive the roads (not just how to pass the test) and gives you that independence when she knows she can! I failed 4 driving tests with my old instructor and passed the 5th one after switching to Sue. I cannot recommend her enough! She makes you feel safe and welcome, honestly the nicest/kindest woman I’ve ever met. Thank you always … x

Sue is absolutely amazing! I was so nervous after having a few driving instructors in the past and getting no-where Sue was just brilliant, my nerves were gone almost instantly and passed very quickly. Thank you Sue!!

I passed my driving test yesterday after just a few months of lessons from Sue. Her teaching is tailored to you as an individual and of a very high standard. She will teach you how to become a safe, confident driver, and not just how to pass your driving test. I’ve enjoyed our lessons a lot, the atmosphere in the car with Sue is relaxed, friendly and welcoming. I’ve never felt anxious or under pressure with her. She knows a wide variety of test routes and has many useful tips to get through certain manoeuvres/areas with success and ease! To those of you that are looking to start driving lessons on the Wirral, you should definitely choose Sue, I can’t recommend her enough!

I am so glad I chose Sue’s Driving School on the Wirral. Being fairly new to the area I was nervous to begin lessons right away as I wasn’t so familiar with the roads. However, Sue makes sure you are relaxed and anxiety-free when driving from the get go. Sue really does live by her motto of ‘there is no such thing as mistakes, only lessons’. Making sure that you never feel deflated after mistakes, big or small, Sue guides you to do your very best. Sue is extremely good at making sure you are on track to passing your driving test, helping to create personalised lessons to suit your confidence and level of driving. I would always look forward to my lessons with Sue, as Sue makes them both fun and enjoyable and you are guaranteed to go away from each lesson feeling both happy and accomplished – plus you always go away from the lesson having learnt something new. Sue is very supportive of all her pupils and makes sure they are test ready and up to scratch providing pupils with the best means of practice. Sue not only covers the syllabus to a high standard but also includes mock tests nearer to a pupil’s test date; which I can for sure say helped me to pass first time. It allowed me to get a feel for the the test and know how to respond to different test situations leaving me more than prepared for the day of my test! I just wouldn’t have passed if it wasn’t for Sue’s brilliant teaching, she is an asset to the driving instructors industry but not only that… Sue is also one of the loveliest and friendliest people you will ever come across. So, it is without doubt I will be recommending Sue to family and friends and all in between for years to come!

Sue is a fantastic driving instructor. After a need to quickly get my driving licence I had booked my test without a driving instructor, so I was desperate to find somebody reliable and with the ability to teach me within a small amount of time. Wow did I luck out with Sue. Her calm, supportive nature and driving knowledge meant that I was driving with confidence in no time. I felt well prepared for my driving test and passed first time without any difficulty all thanks to Sue. As other reviews have mentioned Sue is not only a great instructor, she is such a lovely person too, and I will truly miss my lessons with her. I couldn’t recommend Sue enough.

Just recently passed with Sue, on my first go too! Sue is an excellent instructor who is able to identify your driving weaknesses and knows exactly how to help you improve. Sue worked hard to make sure my availability was accommodated for meaning I was able to have at least one double lesson a week.
Lessons during covid were met with masks and Sue would wipe down all touch points.
Lesson prices are very reasonable and reflect the average expected price in comparison to instructors in the North West.
The car is very clean and drives very well.
In summary Sue is a really nice, friendly instructor who is excellent at her role. I highly recommend anyone who is serious about learning how to drive.

After having several uncomfortable lessons with other instructors I was put in contact with sue, from the very first lesson my entire outlook of learning to drive changed and I began to look forward to my driving lessons. Sue was wonderful, keeping me calm ,relaxed and above all else explained things clearly in a way that was simple to understand.
